The pedestrian woman, whose name was not released, was crossing 4800 Camino De La Plaza around 7:30 p.m. when she was struck by a taxi traveling westbound. According to 10 News, the woman was seven months pregnant, and tragically lost her unborn child and suffered head trauma after the accident.
