SAN DIEGO - According to multiple news reports, roughly eight people suffered injuries after a horrific two-car accident in San Carlos Tuesday. CHULA VISTA -- According to 10 News, a 77-year-old man struck a bicyclist with his car just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday. The tragic Chula Vista incident happened on Fourth Avenue when the driver was exiting a parking lot at Rice Elementary. The bicyclist, whose name is being withheld, was taken to a local hospital, where died about an hour later from his injuries. Lt. SAN DIEGO - A bicyclist sustained major injuries after he was struck by a car in Sorrento Valley Thursday afternoon.
