SAN DIEGO - Three people, which includes a 3-year-old and a 4-month-old baby, were sent to a hospital Sunday after they were involved in a three-car wreck in the Mission Bay area of San Diego, 10 News reports. San Diego police said that the driver of a silver Mazda sedan is believed to have caused the crash that occurred at about 3:05 p.m., and indicated he may have been drinking and driving.
Following this horrific accident, the driver of the Mazda - 29-year-old Kaleb Clark - ran away after arriving at the hospital. His passenger, whose name was not released, was taken to UCSD with life-threatening injuries. The occupants in the second vehicle - a 3-year-old and 4-month-old baby - sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to UCSD Hospital. The mother of the children and the occupants in the third vehicle were not injured after the incident.
