Pedestrian Injured in Chula Vista Hit-and-Run Accident

The accident was reported about 5:43 p.m. Thursday, when Gloria Serrano, 44, was struck by a car while she was attempting to cross east on Otay Lakes Road at Elmhurt Street. Serrano sustained traumatic injury to her right arm and was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The vehicle involved in the crash is described to be a silver Hyundai or Kia sedan with damage to the vehicle from the accident, including a broken passenger side headlight and a missing right side view mirror.
