Two Killed in Oceanside Car Accident

El Camino Real - Oceanside.pngSAN DIEGO COUNTY -- A tragic solo vehicle car accident occurred at about 12:35 p.m. Thursday in Oceanside. According to The San Diego Union Tribune, a southbound driver on El Camino Real lost control of her vehicle, slid sideways onto the center median, and slammed into a palm tree on the passenger side.

Following the car crash, the driver's passenger, Rizelle Cabana Alamares, 24, died at the scene, and the driver, who was in her 20s, was airlifted to the hospital where she later died due to her injuries.

Based on the information provided by news reports, it appears the driver may likely be at fault for the collision due to traveling at "a high rate of speed."
