Two Children Struck and Injured by Car in San Diego

According to 10 News, an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old were hit by a Nissan Maxima when the 42-year-old driver was parking the car and accidentally stepped on the gas while it was in reverse. The accident that occurred around noon at Van Dyke Avenue near El Cajon Boulevard, left the 8-year-old child with a broken arm and the 6-year-old with head injuries. Both were taken to a hospital for further treatment.
