Woman Seriously Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident

Taxi.jpgSAN DIEGO -- A 59-year-old woman was struck by a taxi in downtown San Diego, CBS 8 News reported. The woman, whose name was not released, was attempting to to cross at the intersection of West G Street and Kettner Boulevard on Saturday, when she was hit by a taxi that was turning left onto Kettner. The impact of the collision caused the woman to land on the hood of the car and sustain serious head injuries. She was then transported to a hospital for further treatment.
