POWAY - A pedestrian was severely struck by a car in Poway Sunday night, 10 News reports. The accident happened at about 9 p.m. on Poway Road just west of Tarascan Drive, when the pedestrian, whose name was not released, was attempting to cross Poway Road. Following the collision, the pedestrian was transported to a hospital with "significant injuries."
