Boy Tragically Struck by Car in San Diego

4800 t street - san diego.pngSan Diego -- According to NBC San Diego, an 8-year-old boy was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Friday, in front of Walter Porter Elementary School located at 4800 T Street. Officer David Cali of the San Diego Police Department indicated that a BMW, driven by a 53-year-old woman, was traveling southbound near South 48th Street when she severely struck the young boy. Following this horrible collision, the boy suffered a fracture to his left foot and was transported to a local hospital.

The accident on October 28th remains under investigation by the San Diego Police Department.
