Pedestrian Struck by Car in Pacific Beach Crosswalk

ingrahamstreet.jpgSAN DIEGO - A pedestrian suffered a broken pelvis after being struck by a sport utility vehicle in a Pacific Beach crosswalk Wednesday night, 10 News reported. The accident occurred at 8:45 p.m. when the pedestrian, a 67-year-old man who reportedly had been drinking, began crossing the street in a marked crosswalk at Ingraham Street and Moorland Drive, and was struck by a 73-year-old woman driving Chevrolet SUV. The woman driving the SUV told investigators she did not see him before the accident. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
