Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Interstate 805 On-Ramp

universityave-805.jpgNORTH PARK - A 48-year-old man tragically died early Sunday morning, shortly after he was struck by an out-of-control BMW on the University Avenue on-ramp to northbound Interstate 805. According to 10 News, the victim, was struck by the vehicle at 6:27 a.m. and taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he died at 7:12 a.m. The incident remains under investigation. The victim's identity has not yet been released by the San Diego County Medical Examiner.

Cause of the Fatal Pedestrian Accident
