MIDWAY DISTRICT - A 25-year-old woman suffered severe, possibly life-threatening injuries Sunday night when she was struck by a Toyota 4Runner in the Midway District, 10 News reported. According to news reports, the victim, who was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, attempted to cross the street in the 2700 block of Lytton Street when she was struck by a Toyota 4Runner. The woman, who wasn't identified, suffered several skull fractures and a severe brain injury. The pedestrian accident was reported at about 7:35 p.m. Sunday.
