The Village News reported a woman was taken by ambulance to Palomar Medical Center following a head-on collision on State Route 76 Wednesday evening. The two-vehicle accident happened around 6 p.m. near Ramona Drive, just east of South Mission Road on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. News accounts of this incident were very limited and it is unclear why this incident occurred. Hopefully, the investigation by the CHP will reveal exactly what happened and who was responsible.
