Wrongful Death and Personal Injury Liability

The news reports of this fatal collision raise a number of questions. Why did the 28-year-old driver of the Chevy pull into the path of the Hyundai? It is not clear why the collision occurred. While the investigation is ongoing, the family members of the victims of this crash would be well-advised to speak with a California car accident lawyer who can review the facts of the incident, and if necessary, arrange an independent investigation of the collision. An experienced attorney can also closely monitor the CHP investigation report and advise the family members of the victims of their legal rights in a personal injury or wrongful death claim. If the other driver was at fault the injured victim may be entitled to recover compensation for medical expenses, lost earnings, and pain and suffering. Additionally, the family may be able to recover wrongful death damages for their sudden and unexpected loss.
