A child passenger on a school bus was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries after the bus was struck Friday morning in Santee, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash occurred around 8 o'clock Friday at the intersection of Carlton Oaks Drive and West Hills Parkway in Santee. According to the CHP, only one child was hurt. Six other students on the bus were not injured.
